Classic advanced course

Our 2 days extensive foundation training will teach you all the fundamentals of lash extension application including eye health and anatomy, lash growth patterns, application techniques, lash texturing, infills, business advice and marketing techniques as well as aftercare instructions to name a few. After completing our course you will feel educated and ready to start your career in the lash industry with confidence. ​

Our group classes are kept small (up to 3 students) to maximize your learning and ensure that each student gets maximum 1:1 time with the trainer.

​

The duration of this training is 2 (two) days and is aimed at being mostly hands-on and business related experience. The theory is delivered under the form of PDF manual sent to you a week in advance so you can go through it at your own pace and and at convenient for you time.

 

Training schedule:

 

DAY 1

10am – 11:45am- Introduction, theory re-cap and Q&A session

11:45am - 12:00pm - Coffee break

12:00pm - 1:00pm - Practice on a sponge

1:00pm - 2:00pm - Practice on a dummy head

2:00pm - 2:30pm- Lunch Break

2:30pm - 5:30pm- Practice on live model

5:30pm- 6pm- Taking photos, final Q&A session

DAY 2

10:00am - 11:00am - Face analysis and in-depth mapping and modelling

11:00am - 11:15am - Coffee break

11:15am - 2:00pm- Practice on second live model (+tips on taking photos)

2:00pm - 2:30pm- Lunch break

2:30pm - 3:30pm- Business module (Social Media, further development etc)

3:30pm- 4pm- Final Q&A and photos

PLEASE NOTE: The student is responsible for the presence of a model. If it is not possible to provide one, the academy could try help out but please be aware that we can do so only for an additional fee of £50 (the full amount will be paid to the model directly). Please , request finding a model no later than 7 days before the day of the course. In the absence of a model (for whatever reason), the practical part is conducted again on a dummy head.

INTRODUCTION

– Client consultation, contraindications

– How to do patch test correctly

– Your work station set-up

– Health, safety and sanitation

– Eyelash variations (thickness, length, curl, shape and colour)

– Introduction to different lash tools and materials

– Use of glue (how to properly apply lash glue, all about the glue drop, correct storage and environment, retention)

– All about eye shapes and lash mapping

– Selecting the right size and style for your client eyes

​APPLICATION PROCESS

– Cleaning and getting clients ready for application- step by step demonstration

– Taping and correct eye patch placement. Use of different tapes and taping techniques

– Attaching lashes. Direction, distance, placement.

– Separation, stickies and how to avoid damage to natural lashes

– Removal of eyelash extensions-partial and full

– Maintenance (infill)- step by step

– Aftercare advice
