VOLUME Standard Course

Are you an experienced eyelash stylist that has mastered the classic eyelash application technique and is now wanting to excel their skill?

​

Then you have come to the right place. Our Russian volume course will teach you how to safely and beautifully apply multiple fine lash extensions onto a single natural lash, creating a look that is dark yet so soft!

​

Our group classes are kept small (up to 3 students) to maximize your learning and ensure that each student gets maximum 1:1 time with the trainer.

​

The duration of this training is one day  and is aimed at being mostly hands-on experience. The theory is delivered under the form of PDF manual sent to you a week in advance so you can go through it at your own pace and convenient times.

 

Training schedule: 

10:00am – 11:30am- Introduction , theory re-cap and Q&A session

11:30am - 12:00pm - Styling and mapping

12:00pm - Coffee break

11:45am -12:00 Practice on a sponge

12:30pm- 2pm - Practice on a dummy head

2pm- 2:30pm- Lunch Break

2:30pm - 5:30pm - Practice on live model

5:30pm- 6pm - Final Q&A and taking photos

PLEASE NOTE: The student is responsible for the presence of a model. If it is not possible to provide one, the academy could try help out but please be aware that we can do so only for an additional fee of £50 (the full amount will be paid to the model directly). Please , request finding a model no later than 7 days before the day of the course. In the absence of a model (for whatever reason), the practical part is conducted again on a dummy head.

Contents of the Course:

INTRODUCTION

– Health, safety and sanitation

– Difference between classic and volume lash sets

– Volume set variations (2d-6d volume, mega volume, hybrid, pre-made fans)- pro's and con's

– Eyelash variations (thickness, length, curl, shape and colour) 

– Selecting the right length and thickness according to the chosen volume option

– Introduction to different lash tools and materials that will improve your retention

– Use of glue (how to properly apply lash glue, all about the glue drop, correct storage and environment, retention)

– All about face studies, eye shapes, lash mapping and working with layers

 

​APPLICATION PROCESS

– Cleaning and getting clients ready for application- step by step demonstration

– Taping and correct eye patch placement. Use of different tapes and taping techniques. Getting right into those inner and outer corners

– Attaching fans. Direction, distance, placement.

– Geometry of the perfect fan 

– Removal of eyelash extensions-partial and full

– Maintenance (infill)- step by step

– Aftercare advice

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Certificate is awarded on the day ONLY after both trainer and student agree that the live model was done up to satisfactory standards. If either student or trainer feel that the student would benefit from further guidance then the trainer will ask the student to complete three case studies. After the successful completion of those, the certificate will be send to the student by post .

​

  • There should be at least 3 months since the date on your first accredited classic qualification and the chosen date for your volume training. This is an official  requirement and is really important to abide to.
